- What style of music does Finesse perform?
Finesse performs dance classics and contemporary party music, with pop & R&B vocals.
- Can I request specific songs to be performed?
Of course! If we have it in our repertoire, then we will be sure to include it. We are also able to add custom songs and arrangements. Depending on the request, we may charge an additional fee, but reach out with any questions and we will be happy to help!
- What kinds of venues can Finesse Perform for?
We perform at private, public, and corporate events of any size. We have multiple sound amplification options. We also offer both pre-recorded and live virtual options for online events.
We cater our set and performance toward each event and consult our clients on what options we offer and what we feel would fit best for your event.
- How long have you been doing this professionally?
Individually, our band members, vocalists, and staff have performed at countless weddings. Though, as a company, we are new to the wedding scene, amongst us, we have handled over 100 individual and corporate clients when it comes to providing entertainment.
- Will you be the DJ/bandleader personally playing at our wedding? Which band members should we expect?
We do our best to utilize any specific artist requests, but sometimes need to make adjustments when unforeseen circumstances arise. All of our members of our company are capable of performing at a high-quality, professional level.
- What sets you apart from your competition?
We do our best to make everything run as smoothly and easily as possible from first contact to booking. By booking all of your entertainment in one place, we get rid of most of the headache of planning a wedding.

- What do you do to motivate the crowd if nobody is dancing?
Our vocalists will encourage people to get up out of their seats, but you may also hire dancers to help encourage people to join as well!
- Do you take requests from our guests?
Typically no.
Our songlist has been specifically curated by the couple, so deviating from that list typically doesn't happen.
- Can we submit a "Do Not Play" list?
Yes!
In fact, we require one. This makes sure that we don't play any songs that you don't want played whether it's from the band or a cocktail hour playlist.
- How much do your services cost?
There are so many factors that dictate the rate. We recommend scheduling a 1 on 1 consultation so that we can go over your needs and price range, and we can send you a quote based on your needs, or let you know what can handle if given a quote range.
- How much would you charge for overtime?
This would be a part of the quote and would depending on all of the varying factors.
- When will I receive a written contract?
After our free consultation and quote is given.
- How much of a deposit do you require and when is it due? Do you offer a payment plan?
50% deposit to lock in the date.
Full payment must go through 1 week prior to the performance. We do offer payment plan options if needed! - What is your refund/cancellation policy?
The deposit is non-refundable. You may cancel no less than 2 months from the performance date and not need to pay any additional fees. Anything less than that, costs may incur.
- How far in advance do I need to book you for my wedding?
Typically 2 months, but depending on what you are hiring, we can make last minute accomodations work!
- Are you insured?
Yes!
We have liability and workers comp insurance coverage.
- Do you (and each band member, if you're booking a band) require a meal?
Yes!
Typically all members require a hot meal.
